Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Lyrabar. By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Lyrabar.
1. The app
Lyrabar is a macOS application that displays time-synced song lyrics for music playing in Spotify or Apple Music. It is provided by WinspireTech LLC ("we", "us").
2. Your license
When you purchase Lyrabar, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the app on up to two (2) Macs that you own or control. The purchase is a one-time payment — there is no subscription. You may deactivate a Mac at any time to free an activation slot.
3. Free trial
Lyrabar includes a 7-day free trial so you can evaluate it before buying. When the trial ends, a valid license is required to keep using the app.
4. Updates
Your purchase includes free updates to Lyrabar. We intend to keep improving the app, but we don't guarantee any specific feature, update schedule, or indefinite support.
5. What you may not do
- Resell, sublicense, rent, or redistribute Lyrabar or your license key.
- Share or publish your license key, or circumvent the licensing system.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the app, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
6. Third-party services and trademarks
Lyrabar works alongside Spotify and Apple Music and looks up lyrics from third-party community databases. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Apple, Spotify, or any music or lyrics provider. All product names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Your use of those services remains subject to their own terms.
7. Payments and refunds
Purchases are sold and processed by our merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy. Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.
8. Disclaimer
Lyrabar is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Lyric availability and accuracy depend on third-party databases and the metadata supplied by your music apps, and cannot be guaranteed.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, WinspireTech LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Lyrabar. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid for it.
10. Termination
This license remains in effect until terminated. It ends automatically if you breach these terms. On termination, you must stop using Lyrabar and remove it from your devices.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Lyrabar after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
